As people of faith, we want to extend grace to all people. We want to view them through God’s eyes and love them deeply and unconditionally.
It is also true that all of us are on a journey of learning and spiritual evolution, and sometimes people act in unskilled and hurtful ways. This calls us to set boundaries. Boundaries demonstrate compassion for ourselves by creating structures that support our well-being. They also demonstrate compassion for others by inviting them to interact with us in ways that are mutually supportive and life-affirming.
The uncertainty of liminal space calls us to balance boundary setting with grace and kindness. This helps to ease uncertainty and encourages people to show up as their best selves.
This webinar delves into the nature of grace and the skills of setting boundaries. It includes opportunities to practice bringing these together to build communities of health, wholeness, and resilience.
